Our beliefs

The following is not meant to be an exhaustive statement of our faith but simply a brief summary of what we believe
The Bible
We believe that the bible is the divinely inspired word of God 2Tim 3:16-17, 2Pet 1:19-21. The Bible is inerrant, infallible, and it is the divine rule and final authority in matters of life and godliness.
The Trinity
We believe in the triune God. God the Father, God the Son, and God The Holy Spirit. They are equal in every divine perfection and they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption. Eph 4:6, Corinthians 8:6, 1 Timothy 1:17
The Music
We believe that the music of the church should be Christ centered, Christ exalting, doctrinally correct, and spiritually edifying. Eph 5:18-20, Psalm 96:1, Col 3:16-17
The Creation
We believe in the Genesis account of creation and we accept it as literal not allegorical or figuratively. We believe that man was created directly in God’s own image and after his own likeness that man’s creation was not a matter of evolution or evolutionary changes of spaces or development through interminable periods of time from lower to higher forms. Gen 1:24, Exodus 20:11, Acts 4:24, Jeremiah 10:12

The fall of man
We accept the biblical teaching that the consequences of the fall that all men are sinners by nature and by choice therefore unbelieving sinners are under God’s condemnation without defense or excuse. Rom 5:12, Ephesians 2:1, Gal 3:22

Salvation
Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. Jesus Christ is the only saviour from sin and hell. John 14:6, Acts 4:12, 1Tim 2:5. Jesus Christ died for sin of mankind as the sinless suffering sacrificial lamb of God. We reject any other gospel that includes works or man’s ideas.
We believe in the literal death burial and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We accept that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save sinners from their sins.

The Second coming of Christ
We believe that Jesus is coming again we accept the personal eminent Pretribulation and Premillennial coming of the Lord Jesus for his redeemed ones and his subsequent return to earth with his saints to establish his millennial kingdom 1Thess 4:13-18, Zechariah 14:4-11, Rev 19:11-16,
The ordinances
We believe that the bible commands two ordinances; baptism and the Lord’s supper. Matt 28:18-19, 1Cor 11:23-28

The Separation

Christians are to maintain obedience to God’s commands and separation from all sin, worldliness, and false doctrine. Christians should manifest christian character that is exemplary in its conduct both in the church service and in daily life. Romans 12:1-2
The Church
the local church is the spiritual body of Christ ,the temple of God, the pillar and the ground of truth, and the organism through which God is reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. 1Tim 3:15, Acts 2:28, Eph 2:19, 1Pet 4:17.

The Great Commission
It is the responsibility of every born again believer to be working to fulfill the great commission because it is the mandate of Christ to the church. Matt 28:18-20
